Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.This is a seasonal position from May through November, with the potential for continued, year-round employment based on performance and business needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Strong self-motivator and ability to motivate othersReview daily traces to determine guest needs.Maintain a calm & courteous attitude to ensure guest satisfactionAbility to effectively communicate accurate information to guests and other team membersEscort guests to their rooms with a proper and accurate tourObserve the property for cleanliness, and all is in orderAssist with vehicles, parking, and pulling aroundPrepare all reports for the guest service team.Ensures that meeting rooms are set up for group useAssists with cooking school & special event set upMaintains bikes, bike racks, and golf cart inventoriesCompletes daily rounds to ensure a 5-star appearanceMeets and exceeds all guest requestsCheck-ins and check-outs, including luggage delivery and removalMaintains fireplaces and the appearance of the poolPrepares meeting areas when groups are scheduled and any other special activitiesSet up/ takedown of outdoor functionsSweep and cobweb the outdoor common areas of the propertyFlexibility with scheduling for weekends and holidaysHave excellent knowledge of the property and all the activities it has to offerFollow instructions from your direct supervisorKnowledge of MS OfficeAssists guests with questionsGreets guests upon arrivalProvides safe transportation for on the property or off-property activitiesAssists with the cooking school and special event setupAssist all other departments to meet the guest's needsBe familiar with all of the company’s past, present & future.Must Comply With All Company Policies And Procedures.Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests. EDUCATION And EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalentHospitality experience requiredMust have a valid driver's licenseLanguage SkillsMust be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and managersMathematical SkillsBasic knowledge and understanding of mathREASONING ABILITYMust be able to remain calm under pressureMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goalsPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe job entails excessive lifting of luggage and other guest requests, such as trays and packagesThe position requires one to be on feet for most or all of the shiftMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safelyMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsWORK ENVIRONMENTGeneral office / front desk guest reception areaMay occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions
