Food Labeling Compliance SpecialistWoodridge (Onsite) $70,000 – $85,000About the RoleWe’re looking for a Food Labeling Compliance Specialist to support labeling and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of international food products.This role focuses on ensuring all product labels meet FDA, USDA, and state requirements, while working closely with internal teams and global suppliers.What You’ll DoReview and update product labels for FDA (21 CFR), USDA, and state complianceVerify Nutrition Facts, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and claimsManage label updates due to formulation or regulatory changesConduct high-volume label reviews across multiple productsWork with suppliers to gather and confirm label documentationPartner with QA, Marketing, and Procurement teamsIdentify and resolve compliance issuesSupport SOPs and labeling processesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field3–5+ years of experience in food labeling/complianceStrong knowledge of FDA food labeling (21 CFR Part 101)Hands-on experience with:Nutrition Facts panelsIngredient & allergen labelingFDA Food Labeling Certification (required)Strong attention to detail and organizationNice to HaveExperience with Genesis R&D, TraceGains, or similar systemsExperience with imported food products or global suppliersKnowledge of Organic, Non-GMO, Halal, Kosher certificationsFSVP, PCQI, or HACCP certificationScheduleMonday–Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMBenefitsFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with matchPTO + company holidaysCareer growth in a fast-growing organizationMOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
