This role supports a variety of boundary, right-of-way, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS land title survey projects across commercial, energy, municipal, and transportation sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced CAD professional with a strong background in land surveying applications who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and is looking to grow within a stable and expanding organization.Key Details:Provide office-based technical support for land surveying and engineering projectsDraft and process survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3DPrepare and review boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic surveys, and control surveysInterpret legal descriptions, field data, survey calculations, and technical documentsProcess survey data and perform quality checks using Trimble Business CenterAssist with right-of-way and easement preparationMaintain and improve CAD standards, block libraries, symbols, and automated toolsIncorporate client templates into field-to-finish workflowsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey techniciansWork with advanced technologies including laser scanning, photogrammetry, drone data, and LiDAR processingFamiliarity with deliverables for the commercial, energy, municipal, and transportation markets, especially TxDOT, City of Houston, Harris County and surrounding county engineering standards, and CenterPoint Energy, including ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic surveys, and control surveys.Required Qualifications:Minimum 8 years of office experience in land surveying applications, preferably with field experience.Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D in a surveying environmentStrong understanding of survey calculations and boundary analysisAbility to interpret legal descriptions and technical documentsExperience producing survey deliverables in a deadline-driven production environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDesirable Additional Skills:Experience with Trimble Business CenterFamiliarity with right-of-way and easement preparationExposure to transportation, flood control, Chapter 2, 811 requests and civil infrastructure projectsField experience supporting survey crewsExperience in terrestrial laser scan, photogrammetry, and/or aerial lidar processing and extraction.Familiarity with laser scanning or drone-based survey technologiesProficient in MicroStation and Open Roads Designer (ORD)Proficient in ArcGIS ProCST CertificationBenefits & Perks:Competitive pay based on experienceHealth and dental insuranceShort - and long-term disabilityMonday – Friday schedule (on-site)Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today. xywuqvpEmployment & Training Centers, Inc. is an E-Verify employer.
