About the Opportunity:The Quality Control Analyst - Valuations plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and regulatory compliance of valuation reports. This position is responsible for analyzing valuation documents, managing provider communications, and supporting quality standards that directly impact the reliability of mortgage services. The role contributes significantly to maintaining client trust and operational excellence.3. Responsibilities:Perform quality control analysis of valuation reports to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and client requirementsContact valuation providers to discuss revisions or obtain status updatesAddress and resolve issues promptly and accuratelyMeet daily, weekly, and monthly production goalsProvide feedback to management to improve processes and productivityEnsure valuation reports adhere to State and Industry regulations, including Appraiser Independence RequirementsIdentify discrepancies or errors and request detailed revisionsFollow appropriate escalation protocolsComplete all QC valuation steps within required SLA timeframesAttend departmental meetings and participate in overtime, training, and collaboration events as neededMaintain professional relationships with vendors and internal staffCommunicate daily with QC Managers regarding department operationsPerform other assigned duties4. Requirements:Minimum 3 years’ experience in real estate appraisal quality control review at AMC or mortgage company levelCollege degree preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAbility to multitask and work with multiple systems in a fast-paced environmentWillingness and ability to quickly learn new skills, processes, and proceduresUSPAP certification required or completion of the 15 or 7 hr. USPAP training course within employment and maintenance of certificationKnowledge of valuation processes, procedures, and technologyExceptional customer service, communication, and writing skills5.
