Anesthesiology Physician

This locum General Anesthesiologist (MD) role provides coverage for a hospital-based anesthesia service due to a departing provider. The position involves a mix of scheduled OR shifts and call coverage, supporting general anesthesia cases in a collaborative clinical environment. Candidates should be flexible to cover both weekday and weekend needs. Dates/Schedule Coverage dates: Aug 17 Aug 23 Oct 19 Oct 25 Nov 9 Nov 18 Dec 28 Jan 3 Schedule: OR shifts: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Weekday and weekend coverage required Call with average callback: 7.5 hours (weekday), 5.9 hours (weekend) Job Details & Responsibilities Provide general anesthesia services in a hospital setting Cover occasional OR cases and participate in call rotation Manage perioperative anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation Collaborate with surgical teams and hospital staff Coverage needed due to MDA leaving the group Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified in Anesthesiology (REQUIRED) Active state license or IMLC eligibility (REQUIRED) Clean malpractice/background (HIGHLY PREFERRED) Availability for listed dates at time of submission (REQUIRED) NPDB self-query report within 30 days (REQUIRED) Ability to meet 90-day credentialing requirements
