The project is supported by Ladybug Memory, Inc.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Founding Engineer, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Founding Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions, collaborating with team members, and contributing to the design and architecture of our projects. They will also work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. The role involves problem-solving, coding, and continuous improvement of existing systems.QualificationsExperience with embedded software development with expertise in C++ and PythonKnowledge of columnar storage and memory systems (Apache Parquet, Arrow, Lake houses) and graph based systemsUnderstanding of system design and architecture principlesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience with cloud services, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
