About the JobJob Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the operations of our Fleet Maintenance division. This role is responsible for supervising staff, managing fleet repairs and maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match.Profit-Sharing Plan.Short-Term Disability.Accident Insurance.Hospital Confinement.Supplemental Life Insurance.Paid Vacation & Holidays.Opportunities for Growth & Advancement.Key Responsibilities:Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of 8-10 fleet maintenance staff.Schedule and oversee daily operations, repair orders, and staff payroll.Maintain and repair a fleet of 90+ tow trucks and company vehicles.Ensure customer service and quality standards are consistently met.Manage parts inventory, repair estimates, and work order completion.Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA compliance.Oversee shop maintenance, building upkeep, and equipment functionality.Maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and staff.Assist in recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.Preferred Qualifications:Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years mechanical repair experience; 2+ years in shop management.Strong supervisory, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.Basic computer skills; familiarity with mechanical repair, estimating, and management software.Ability to prepare repair estimates and manage workflow.Bilingual is a plus, but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.Regular use of hands, sitting, standing, walking, occasional kneeling or crouching.Exposure to outdoor conditions; moderate to loud noise levels.Competencies:Dependability and accountability.Leadership and team management.Problem-solving and decision-making.Strong attention to detail and organization.Effective verbal and written communication.Adaptability and innovation.
