Job Description & RequirementsCardiac Anesthesiology PhysicianStartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8;On Call Pay Rate: $376.36 - $407.40This facility is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details & requirements for this opportunity:Call & requirements: Beeper call preferred; weekday and weekend call rotation approximately Q9 over 6 months (12 weekdays and 9 weekends); call is taken as part of a physician/CRNA team with backup physician on second call; cardiac call is requiredSupervision vs independent: Medically directed model with 1:2 or 1:3 ratio; physicians supervise CRNAs for most cases; all cardiac cases are personally performed by the physicianEMR: EpicCertifications required: Board Certification required; TEE proficiency (image acquisition and basic diagnostics); ACLS/BLS not specified but typically requiredNumber of operating rooms: 19 OR suites in-house, plus 1 endo room, additional coverage across 26 anesthesia locations including affiliated ASC, endo center, and Westfield Memorial HospitalLicense required or accepting IMLC: Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC status not specifiedJob BenefitsAMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
