Role OverviewRobo Optic is building a world-class operations team at our new Hutto, TX facility. The Logistics Manager will own end-to-end supply chain execution — inbound materials through outbound delivery — with a critical focus on customs compliance, tariff strategy, and cross-border trade. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone who brings both operational discipline and deep trade expertise.Logistics & Trade Operations• Manage inbound/outbound transportation, freight, and carrier relationships• Handle import/export documentation, HTS classification, and customs filings• Navigate Section 301 tariffs, USMCA, and duty drawback to minimize landed cost• Partner with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and legal counselInventory & Warehouse• Oversee inventory accuracy, traceability, and material availability• Manage warehouse operations: receiving, storage, pick/pack/ship• Implement safety stock, reorder points, and cycle count programs• Align supply planning with Procurement and ProductionSystems, KPIs & Continuous Improvement• Implement and manage ERP/WMS for real-time logistics visibility• Define and track KPIs: on-time delivery, inventory turns, freight cost• Drive Lean-based process improvements across the supply chainTeam Leadership & Vendor Management• Build and lead a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff• Manage 3PL providers and negotiate carrier contracts and SLAs• Own logistics budget and identify cost-reduction opportunitiesWhat You BringRequired7–10+ years in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management in manufacturing or industrial environmentsDemonstrated expertise in customs compliance, import/export regulations, and tariff management (HTS, Section 301, USMCA, duty drawback)Experience with ERP and/or WMS systemsProven leadership and team development experienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalentPreferredBackground in robotics, electronics, or high-tech manufacturingExperience in global logistics and international freight (air, ocean, ground)Lean or Six Sigma certificationExperience scaling logistics in a fast-growth or startup environmentReady to move the future of robotics?
