Advanced Training & Development Specialist

Join a dynamic healthcare system in the Midwest region as an Advanced Training & Development Specialist. This role involves independently planning, creating, and administering comprehensive training programs tailored for leadership and staff development.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, compile, and deliver educational materials for departmental programs and service excellence workshops.Design, develop, and maintain engaging eLearning courses across the organization.Manage community engagement by registering employees and local residents for various classes.Facilitate educational programs ensuring alignment with learning objectives and organizational values.Conduct Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider courses and skills assessments.Create video presentations from live training sessions to enhance eLearning content.Support the computer-based learning system by updating modules and monitoring course completion.Communicate system updates and changes effectively to management and staff.EducationA bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Public Relations, Education, or Business is required. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint and Excel is essential. Experience with Adobe software is necessary, and familiarity with Articulate 360 is preferred.ExperienceAt least one year in an instructor or trainer role is required, with a preference for candidates who have three years of experience within a healthcare environment.CertificationsBasic Life Support Instructor certification must be obtained within the first six months to assist with BLS skill checks.Mental and Physical RequirementsThis position demands considerable mental focus on multiple projects and assignments. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 15 pounds. The ability to concentrate, pay close attention to detail, and meet deadlines is crucial.
