Our product offerings span from general commodities to specialty products including various species of hardwood panels, structural panels and composite decking. We are seeking a motivated Territory Account Manager to join our team and help expand our customer base while strengthening existing relationships.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Territory Account Manager for a full-time hybrid position based in Maryland Heights, MO. The Territory Account Manager will oversee building relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and managing sales within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include client engagement, territory planning, hitting sales targets, and delivering tailored solutions to client needs. This role involves conducting market analysis, visiting dealer sites, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and continued business development.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of products and services dealer accounts through personal customer contact.Travels through assigned territory, quotes prices, and conducts sales presentations.Provide training to customers and their associates on products distributed by the company.Develop sales strategies and product promotions.Provide promotional and merchandising support to customers in support of vendors.Attend/Facilitate events and training sessions such as contractor events and lunch and learns at customer locations.Maintain knowledge of competitor products.Resolve customer issues, respond to complaints and receivable problems, and provide claims serviceQualificationsProven sales and account management skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong client relationshipsStrategic planning and market analysis abilities to identify growth opportunitiesExperience in building materials such as composite decking, exterior trim and siding is preferredStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsCapability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environmentValid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
