Embedded Software Engineer

Position: Embedded Software Engineer Location: Irvine, CA (100% Onsite) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a leading aerospace engineering team. Required Skills: • Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ Development • Hands-on experience with DO-178 / DO-178C Standards • Experience in Device Driver Development • Experience with Board Bring-up and OS Bring-up • Strong understanding of Hardware Interfaces including UART, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232, and RS422 • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, TCP/IP, and UDP • Background in Aerospace/Avionics Embedded Systems • Experience working through the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Responsibilities: • Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software solutions. • Develop and maintain embedded applications using C/C++. • Collaborate with hardware, systems, and verification teams. • Support board bring-up, operating system integration, and driver development. • Ensure compliance with aerospace safety and regulatory standards. • Debug and optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability. Experience: • 6–15 years of Embedded Software Engineering experience.
