Warehouse II
Position Summary This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. The employee will use a forklift to move products.Work Schedule Weekdays (6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday)Key ResponsibilitiesLoads outbound trailersVerification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control documentRouting of products/pallets to the designated areasInspection of products for damagesProduct lot verificationComplete JDE transactionsControl the flow of pallets on the dockMay be required to physically re‐stack products on another palletCross‐train various positions within the Sterilization facilitiesEnsure all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and proceduresMaintain an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPsPerform other duties as assignedComplete all Master Control and C2C Training at the end of every monthYearly physical requiredEducational Qualifications & Previous ExperienceHigh School education or equivalent preferredProfessional Skills & Key CompetenciesGood verbal communication skillsBasic math skillsAbility to solve practical problemsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral formAbility to adapt to shifting prioritiesPosition works on the warehouse floorArea is subject to wide temperature swings; hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (very limited heating)Ability to work at high volume levelsEEO Statement Becton, Dickinson, and Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
