Hematology/Oncology Physician

Call & Schedule:Outpatient clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMAfter-hours answering service; only urgent calls are escalatedCall is only for MCGC locationNo heavy inpatient call burdenWe need someone to start is as soon as possible (March), and fulltime is prefer. If there is limited availability (2 days per week) the person must be available to respond to calls from staff regarding their patients. The assignment length initially is anticipated through June.Clinical Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology careManage new consultations (30-45 minutes) and follow-up visits (15-20 minutes)Collaborate closely with radiation oncology, surgical specialists, and hospital teamsParticipate in multidisciplinary care planningInpatient care supported by private practice APPsNo required proceduresSubmission Requirements:Board Certified (ABMS board-certified or board-eligible) Active OH license Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teamsSelf query NPDB
