This individual will be responsible for concept development, menu creation, kitchen leadership, and operational performance, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hospitality.The ideal candidate combines creative culinary leadership with strong financial acumen, bringing the ability to manage food cost, labor, and kitchen budgets while delivering an exceptional guest experience.ResponsibilitiesLead culinary vision and menu development for new restaurant conceptsOversee all kitchen operations including staffing, training, and performance managementMaintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, and consistencyManage kitchen financial performance including food cost, labor cost, purchasing, and inventory controlsDevelop and manage kitchen budgets with a strong understanding of P&L performance and profitabilitySource high-quality seasonal ingredients and build relationships with local farmers and purveyorsCollaborate with ownership, design, and operations teams during concept development and openingsFoster a positive, professional kitchen culture focused on mentorship and team developmentEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standardsQualifications5+ years of leadership experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in fine dining or chef-driven restaurantsStrong financial acumen with experience managing kitchen budgets, food cost, labor, and inventory systemsExperience opening new restaurants or launching culinary concepts preferredProven ability to build, mentor, and retain strong kitchen teamsDeep knowledge of seasonal cuisine, sourcing, and modern culinary techniquesA collaborative mindset and passion for hospitalityWhat We OfferOpportunity to lead the culinary vision for new restaurant concepts in PhiladelphiaWork within a design-driven hospitality company with a growing national portfolioCollaborative environment alongside experienced hospitality and design teamsCompetitive compensation and benefits
