Industrial Master Electrician

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Industrial Master Electrician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing/industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of electrical codes, and experience working with high-voltage and automated systems. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, motor controls, drives, and automation equipment Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes Supervise and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems Diagnose and repair electrical failures in production equipment Work with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system reliability Manage electrical projects from planning to completion Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Qualifications Active Master Electrician License (required) 7+ years of industrial electrical experience Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, transformers, and power distribution systems Experience working in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial environments Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Preferred Experience Experience with automation and robotics High-voltage system experience Preventive and predictive maintenance programs Experience working in food processing, automotive, energy, or heavy manufacturing Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career advancement opportunities Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in industrial environments (heat, noise, confined spaces, heights) Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work extended shifts as needed Machines & technologies you'll use: Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley)
