Zone Market Specialist

About The RoleJoin Haulotte, a global leader in aerial work platforms, and play a key role in supporting the marketing and sales teams in the Americas Zone (North and South America). The Zone Market Specialist will monitor the market and share trends and information across the region with Group, Zone, and Subsidiary sales and marketing teams. This candidate will support sales teams with knowledge of current products and gather input to support the development of new products and features. The successful candidate will work closely with product marketing and sales teams to contribute to the development of market specific business plans for the Americas Zone.Locations: Virginia Beach, VA - Requires 30% travel within the zone. Occasional international travel. Must have and maintain a valid passport.What You’ll Do Define, in collaboration with the marketing and sales department, the targeting of sectors of activity, and the types of companies to be developed commercially. Support marketing and sales teams gathering data such as competitive pricing, customer perception on product performance, win/loss trends, and other targeted market research. Support sales and marketing teams with analysis and management of the customer relationship management system (Salesforce). Identify potential leads and prospects using various sources available, databases, directories, networks, trade shows etc. Support customers acting as the regional voice of the customer, supporting new product and features with customer and competitive research. Promote and train sales teams on Haulotte solutions: New and used machines, spare parts, maintenance or reconditioning services, financing solutions, training (including end customers), etc. Monitor, analyze, and report on commercial transactions won/loss reports, product pricing by market and customer segment. Participate, deploy, and support operational marketing actions: events, trade shows, promotional operations, etc. Coordinate and administrate the sale and disposal of used and trade-in machinesWhat You BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent working experience. Experience working for an OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer is a plus. Skills & AbilitiesStrong communication and negotiation skills. CRM knowledge. Advanced MS Office knowledge - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. MEWP industry/product knowledge is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to work independently planning daily and weekly activities. Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 10-25 lbs. Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
