ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a full-time driven and experienced Sales Executive to join our growing technology sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of key accounts, and driving revenue growth across our suite of technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success to deliver an exceptional client experience from first contact through close and beyond. This is a hybrid in office/wfh position that will eventually require full-time in office presence. COMPENSATIONBase salary: $70,000–$85,000 (commensurate with experience)Commission: Uncapped, with accelerators above quotaOn-target earnings (OTE): $130,000–$160,000Benefits package: Paid time off and company holidays; medical insurance; employee stock options This is a foundational sales role at an early-stage startup. Because we're establishing our customer pipeline from scratch, commission will build over time — and the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the department scales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and inbound leadsManage and grow an assigned territory or account portfolio to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targetsConduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultative sales conversations with C-level and senior decision-makersDevelop and execute strategic account plans, including opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecastingNegotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder dealsCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to align go-to-market strategiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developmentsRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS DISCLAIMER: We are a startup. If you are looking for a more established position that does not require you to be an active contributor to the evolution of the company – please apply elsewhere.Minimum 2 years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience in the technology industry (SaaS, hardware, enterprise software, or related field)Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred)Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise clientsStrong understanding of the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closeFluent in EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficiency with CRM tools Must have superior communication skills, proficient in English Must reside in the Chicagoland area and have a reliable mode of transportationMust be legally authorized to work in the US. We are NOT sponsoring visas at this time.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or advanced degreeProficiency in a second language is a big plus.
