Oracle PL/SQL Analyst

Overview In this role you will support IT delivery through analysis, design, and optimization of database and mainframe-based solutions. You will work on production support and performance engineering within a global delivery context, translating requirements into robust system implementations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to troubleshoot issues, monitor jobs, and ensure smooth end-user experiences. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and write complex RDBMS queries and manage Oracle PL/SQL, CICS, COBOL, DB2 and JCLParticipate in the software development life cycle and translate requirements into system specsProvide scripting, Java and MSBI support as a plusDeliver production support and performance engineering to ensure system reliabilityMonitor jobs, troubleshoot issues, and manage end-user interactionsEngage in product or project support in a client-facing, global delivery environment Key requirementsMinimum 2 years in RDBMS concepts and complex query handlingAt least 2 years in Oracle PL/SQL, CICS, COBOL, DB2 and JCLAt least 2 years in software development life cycleAt least 2 years translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirementsAt least 1 year scripting language, Java and MSBI a plusAt least 2 years in production support and performance engineeringAt least 1 year in job monitoring and issue troubleshootingAt least 2 years of End User interaction in support projectsAny product support experience is a plusAt least 2 years in mainframe technical skills – COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and Web ServicesAbility to work in a team and interface with clients; strong analytical skillsExperience and interest in a Global delivery environmentteam-orientedclient interfacinganalytical thinkingRDBMS conceptsOracle PL/SQLCICS
