Equal Opportunity Employer.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position as a Business Development Officer, where office space will be determined at time of hire (in one of our beautiful office locations throughout Vermont).The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with clients, and supporting the financial needs of businesses. Responsibilities include analyzing financial information, delivering excellent customer service, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve organizational goals. The Business Development Officer will also promote the bank’s services within the community to drive growth and foster strong partnerships.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to build and maintain professional relationshipsFamiliarity with banking regulations and local markets is a plusProactive attitude with a focus on community enrichmentMinimum of one to three years of banking, sales, relationship management, or financial services experienceDemonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentialityStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesCustomer-focused mindset with interest in business developmentCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAdaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with digital banking and mobile toolsMust have reliable transportation between NSB locationsWillingness to travel and work flexible hours, as neededCompensationBase compensation range at hire (dependent on experience): $80,080-$84,760 annually
