Job Title: Java Microservices Developer Location: Miami, FL (Need Locals) Type: W2 Contract Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications. This is a hands-on development role focused on building modern, cloud-ready services for enterprise-scale applications. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to implement high-quality solutions.Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use.Optimize application performance and scalability.Participate in code reviews and contribute to software engineering best practices.Implement CI/CD pipelines and work in Agile development environments.Ensure code quality, unit testing, and documentation. Required Skills and Experience:7+ years of experience in Java development.Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs.Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.Proficient in using Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle.Excellent problem-solving skills and team collaboration. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
