Morning PT Opener- Tea Tender

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Tea Tender to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality teas, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the tea station. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tea, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and have an interest in the art of tea brewing. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of teas according to company standards and recipes Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting tea options Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea station, including equipment and supplies Ensure all ingredients are stocked and properly stored Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Handle cash register operations accurately when processing transactions Educate customers about different types of teas, brewing methods, and health benefits Assist with opening procedures, including setting up the station before opening hours Requirements Schedule availability would have to include opening at 6:00AM on weekdays Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work early mornings or during opening hours as needed Strong organizational skills to keep the station clean and well-stocked Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Prior experience in food service or beverage preparation is a plus but not mandatory Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $10.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement Work Location: In person
