Finance Manager (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Finance Manager (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead and mentor the FP&A program finance team Generate accurate financial reports, including program P&L and variance analysis Oversee monthly forecasting and annual budgeting activities for the program Conduct funding and burn rate analysis for stakeholders Provide insights on program financial drivers and risks Regularly update the EPA customer on program financial status Manage subcontractor spending and ensure alignment with budget goals Identify process improvement opportunities and corrective actions Facilitate month-end financial closing processes including cost accruals and revenue recognition Collaborate with internal departments like Accounting and Procurement for smooth operationsQualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 8+ years of experience Extensive knowledge of government contracting principles including CAS, FAR, and GAAP Demonstrated experience in developing financial planning and analysis processes Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and complex modeling Strong communication skills for conveying complex financial data succinctly Self-motivated critical thinker with the ability to engage diverse teamsBenefits Fully remote position within the United States Opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding Health and Civilian sector Lead a team and have a significant impact on business operations Engage with various levels of management and customer stakeholders Gain experience with diverse financial tools and contract typesOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
