Job DescriptionPosition Title: Bulk Cheese Handler Wage: $25.20/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm (Monday - Friday) Feeling underpaid or undervalued? Bulk Cheese Handler Responsibilities:Maintaining personal, equipment, and work-area sanitation in compliance with GMP's and safety policies De-boxing, unwrapping, inspecting, cleaning, weighing, measuring, and preparing cheese per customer and order specifications Loading, spacing, and stocking product on processing and packaging lines to prevent downtime Operating cutters, lifting equipment, pallet trucks, handheld scanners, and packaging equipment Opening, re-working, and trimming product; packing, sealing, labeling, and palletizing finished goods Reviewing production sheets to ensure accurate pricing, labeling, packaging, and order assembly Performing quality checks and verifying machine safety features prior to production Accurately completing production records and entering data into reporting systems Communicating order requirements, quality concerns, and safety issues to line personnel Rotating through line positions and performing assigned duties as needed Requirements for Bulk Cheese Handler:High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and understand safety rules, procedures, and work instructions Basic math skills Detail-oriented and effective communication skills; ability to work and communicate while working independently or within a team Ability to stand or walk for 8-10 hour shifts; regularly lifting 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in varying temperatures (50-80 degrees) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
