Come join us!How you will enjoy your day: Perform daily accounting functions related to the accounting office and hotel operations. Assists in many areas to complete and improve the financial process. The role includes varied accounting functions such as income audit, daily cash, entry level reconciliations and other tasks related to accounting and accounting reporting. Position reports to the Accounting Manager.Work PerformedMaintain and balance automated systems for daily reportingInput data in various financial or similar systemsMaintain proper documentation and organized filesAnswer accounting and financial questions Research and interpret dataProvide daily reportingUtilize Microsoft Excel spreadsheets Compute accurate mathematical calculationsWork closely with other departments to ensure proper recording of informationHandle cash Troubleshoot common accounting problemsProvide accounting support to multiple team membersCreate and maintain reports with speed and accuracyHandle confidential and sensitive financial informationOther duties as assigned Supervision Exercised:None.Supervision Received: Accounting Manager & Assistant Director of FinanceMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred or equivalent work experience. Previous hospitality experience is highly desired. Appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness. Must have strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize deadlines as well as accuracy with an eye for detail. Strong Excel skills are critical. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and works well with others.
