Director of Accounting / Regional Controller

This role will serve as a critical contributor to corporate accounting operations and strategic initiatives, including the implementation and optimization of an enterprise-wide accounting ERP.The ideal candidate brings 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to help build scalable processes in a dynamic, acquisition-focused company.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and percentage of completion accrualsAct as a key contributor in the implementation and ongoing optimization of enterprise-wide accounting ERP ,currently in the planning stageDevelop and improve accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processesPartner with corporate leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingSupport company-wide initiatives related to integration, acquisitions, and system enhancementsPrepare financial reports and analysis to support decision-makingEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsSupport requests related to annual financial statement audit and corporate initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, corporate development, HR, and leadership teamsQualifications5 to 10 years of accounting experience in a corporate environmentBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA license a plusDirect experience with enterprise-wide accounting software required (Sage Intacct or Oracle NetSuite)Strong background in AP, AR, and accrual-based accounting (experience with percentage of completion (POC) accounting preferred)Proven ability to support budgeting and financial planning processesExperience implementing or enhancing accounting systems preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth organizationStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesMust reside in East or Central time zoneIdeal Candidate TraitsSelf-starter with a high level of initiativeDetail-oriented with consistent follow-throughComfortable managing multiple prioritiesHands-on and execution focusedTeam-oriented with a service mindsetAbility and desire to take on more responsibility and potentially an enhanced role as the company growsWhy Join UsThis is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing industrial services company.
