Fintech Financial Controller

Our Fintech client in Alpharetta is looking for a full-time Controller with payment processing experience to join their team. This position will report to the VP of Financial Operations. Their current accounting team includes five employees. This can be hybrid or fully remote but candidate will need to work East coast hours.Priorities for the role include: 1) Audit readiness (for sponsor banks)2) Monthly reporting / Close optimization3) Establish accounting processes and procedures4) Familiarity with Technical Accounting Concepts (specifically revenue recognition)5) Fintech experience required6) Payment processing experience preferred7) Experience with NetSuite preferred
