As one of the world’s leading law firms, we seek dynamic individuals who share our commitment to service, innovation, and professional growth.Job TitleAdministrative ManagerLocationWashington, D.C.Regular/TemporaryRegularJob Description SummaryWe have an opening for an Administrative Manager in our Washington, DC office.The Administrative Manager oversees the daily operations of assigned departments for the local office and reports into the Director of Business Operations.Job DescriptionIn this capacity, the Administrative Manager will:Manage team(s) and resources supporting select Washington, DC office functions, including the Client Service Specialist team; Manage team performance, set goals, and ensure continuous professional development;Administer the Firm’s initiatives and operations at the local level, such as office implementations, projects, programs and events;Advise and administer budget control and maintenance for areas of responsibility;Plan office events (onsite and offsite), managing events budgets, and facilitate community outreach programs;Partner with internal parties and external resources;Manage administration-related vendor relationships for areas of responsibility;Work collaboratively with Firmwide Departments to implement and support tools and programs for areas of responsibility;Interfacing with Firmwide Departments to facilitate compliance with local rules and regulations and peer practices;Conduct new hire orientations, coordinate training, and facilitate on-boarding of both attorneys and business professionals;Work beyond scheduled hours as required; andHandle additional related projects as necessary.ProficienciesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;Advanced proficiency in planning, allocating and reconciling an operations budget;Advanced knowledge of office administration and services procedures and practices, preferably in a legal environment;Advanced knowledge of records management, preferably in a legal environment;Advanced knowledge of facilities procedures and practices;Fundamental knowledge of reception procedures and practices; andAdvanced knowledge of legal office terminology and procedures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or equivalent professional work experience;At least 5 years of management experience (preferred);At least 7 years of work process and procedure experience (required); andAt least 7 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (required).The salary wage range for Washington, D.C. that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $109,000 and a maximum of $157,500 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.Employees will be provided with an excellent career opportunity in a collaborative environment, in addition to a generous total compensation package with the opportunity to earn bonuses based on individual contribution and firm profitability.The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
