Priding ourselves on being ONE GREAT TEAM, ninth year in a row honored one of the TOP WORKPLACES of South Florida by the Sun Sentinel./ppYour day to day:/ppAs a Club Lounge Food Beverage Attendant, you will ensure the overall condition of the Club lounge is impeccable, and the set-up, presentation and the quality of food offerings are up to the standards and expectation./ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliMaintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features and services, hours of operation./liliMaintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures./liliSet up workstation with necessary supplies; maintain cleanliness throughout shift./liliPromote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Club Lounge at all times./liliEnsure breakfast is setup in a timely manner an according to specifications./liliCoordinate correct breakdown of Breakfast and prepare mise-en-place for teatime./liliArrange for pastries be brought up to the Lounge in timely manner for teatime./liliPrepare proper set up for Happy hour according to departmental standards./liliEnsure all guests requirements during happy hour, waiting on tables, replenishing of the food served during happy hour./liliComplete correct break down of happy hour and proper set up for breakfast for the next day./liliEnsure the Club Minibar is always stocked in a timely fashion./liliAccommodate all requests for information in a congenial manner./liliAnticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day./liliInspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel./liliAdhere to hotel requirements for guest/employee accidents or injuries and in emergency situations./liliEnsure security of guest room access./liliCoordinate amenities with Room Service, ensuring timely delivery./liliMaintain awareness of undesirable persons on hotel premises and contact Security to escort off property where necessary./liliFoster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale./liliComplete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering. Contact Engineering directly for urgent repairs./liliAlways maintain the coffee machine neat, tidy and ready for use./liliPrepare setup table for breakfast for the next day./liliThe conference room has to be always neat, tidy and ready to be occupied according to company standards./liliDocument pertinent information in department logbook./liliDouble check cleanliness of coolers, food rotation food quality./liliInspect food presentation during daily breakfast and happy hours and address any issues directly to FB./liliInventory of daily transfers from FB./liliManage inventory and rotate items in the Club cage./liliKeep track of what have been received and pending./liliInspect amenity presentation before the amenity is sent out to the VIPs room./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpWhat we need from you:/ppQualifications and Requirements:/ppMinimum:/pulliHigh school graduate/liliPrevious experience in Food Beverage, Guest Services./liliAbility to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone./liliAbility to provide legible written communication to a high standard./li/ulpThis job requires ability to perform the following:/pulliCarrying, lifting and/or pushing items weighing in excess of 150+ pounds/liliCommunicating with other people/li/ulpOther:/pulliCommunication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company./liliReading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training/liliMathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently./liliProblem solving, reasoning, and organizational abilities are used often./liliAbility to communicate in a second language (Spanish or French) is preferred./li/ulpThis position may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays and requires flexible/alternating schedules, due to business needs and groups/events./ppWhat we offer:/ppThe hourly pay rate for this role is $15.00./ppWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and many other benefits to eligible employees.
