In this role, you will test and commission MV/HV power systems, protection & control schemes, and critical electrical infrastructure from construction through energization. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with advanced testing equipment, and collaborating with experienced commissioning professionals, this role offers meaningful technical work and continuous professional growth. This is a field-based position with travel to project sites across Canada on a 14/7 rotation.What You'll DoTest and commission power system protection & control schemes in the utility, power generation, and oil & gas industryRead and interpret drawings and troubleshoot / resolve technical issuesReport preparation and submissionAssist with generation of commissioning startup procedures or work instructionsEnsure compliance with all safety practices as per corporate, client, and industry standardsInitiate and/or respond to customer inquiries, discuss trouble details and confirm resolutionsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Electrician Journeyman Ticket, or an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma from a recognized institute3+ years' experience in MV and HV CommissioningAbility to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as requiredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applicationsProven analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilitiesValid driver's license with clean driving record.Background checks and Drug and Alcohol Pre-Access Testing will be required as part of employment.Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
