Since 2003, SA Hospitality Group has expanded to a selective group of iconic New York neighborhoods with its three brands: Sant Ambroeus, Casa Lever, Felice with 24 restaurant locations in Manhattan, Southampton, NY, East Hampton, NY, Aspen, CO, Milan, Italy, and Palm Beach, FL.Position Purpose: the Staff Accountant (TEMP) will partner closely with AP & Assistant Controllers and play an integral role in our monthly accounting processes.This is a temporary 3-4 month assignment. Key Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesPost GL entries on a weekly/monthly basis to process transactions of the business including AR transactions, Cash transactions and Corporate Credit Card transactionsReconcile & Post AMEX Statement transactions with proper GL coding.Assist in the month-end close process and ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to.Process House Account transactions as needed daily from the locations.Perform bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts on a monthly basis.Help to manage the Corporate Credit Card platform (adjust limits after approval, add or remove cards, etc...)Assist with the preparation of various ad-hoc analysis as needed by the businessExcellent problem-solving skills with good intuition.Minimal Essential RequirementsThe ability to work as part of a team and superior organization.Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Wide breadth of accounting experienceExceptional ability to handle a high-volume fast-paced work environment.Aptitude for numbers, quantitative and analytical skills.
