Responsibilities: Design and develop electronic circuits and schematics that translate into production-ready printed circuit boards (PCBs). Lead end-to-end PCBA development including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and design reviews. Perform hands-on assembly, soldering, desoldering, rework, and troubleshooting of PCBAs during prototyping and failure analysis. Execute functional, environmental, and reliability testing of electronic boards; support debug and root cause analysis. Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, power integrity, and manufacturability. Support design validation, design verification, and production bring-up. Interface with manufacturing and suppliers for DFM, DFT, and NPI activities. Document designs, test results, and engineering change orders. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics product development or related industry. Hands-on experience with PCBAs, including: Soldering, desoldering, rework, probing, and troubleshooting. Schematic Design Experience: Designed and released 2 5 complete board-level schematics that progressed to fabricated PCBs. PCB Layout Experience: Hands-on or direct ownership of 5 10 PCB layouts (multi-layer, mixed-signal preferred). Strong understanding of: Analog circuits (power supplies, amplifiers, filtering, signal conditioning) Digital circuits (MCUs, FPGAs, high-speed interfaces, memory, communication buses) Familiarity with EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, Cadence, Mentor, etc.). Experience with board bring-up, debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, IPC standards, and design for reliability. Preferred Skills: Mixed-signal design (ADC/DAC, clocking, power management). High-speed design (DDR, LVDS, Ethernet, USB, PCIe). EMI/EMC compliance and signal integrity analysis. Experience in regulated industries (Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial).
