Fashion Designer – Sleepwear / Intimates

Job Title: Fashion Designer (Sleepwear / Intimates)Location: 55 Water Street, Manhattan, New York Position: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsiteDuration: 3+ Contract (Potential Extension) We are looking for a Fashion Designer to join the Sleepwear Design team. This role focuses on creating commercially viable, brand-right designs for women’s sleepwear and related apparel categories.The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator (CADs), tech pack creation, and have a strong understanding of garment construction and fit—especially in women’s wear, lingerie, or sleepwear categories.This is a hands-on, technical design role working closely with merchandising, product development, and vendors to bring seasonal collections from concept to production.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD sketches and technical fashion designs aligned with brand direction Develop seasonal product concepts focusing on style, fit, fabric, and color Build detailed tech packs and specification sheets Work on garment construction and fit corrections (especially sleepwear/lingerie) Update and maintain PLM systems and line sheets Collaborate with vendors, merchandising, and product development teams Conduct trend and competitor research Participate in fittings and apply feedback for final product execution Support presentation materials and design reviews Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met Required Skills :4+ years of experience in fashion/apparel design (or strong entry-level portfolio considered) Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (must-have) Experience creating tech packs and CAD drawings Knowledge of garment construction and women’s wear (sleepwear/lingerie preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback Understanding of fashion trends and consumer needs Experience working with cross-functional teams (merchandising, vendors, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred Nice to HavePLM system experience Adobe Photoshop / InDesign skills Hand sketching ability Experience in lingerie or intimate apparel brandsAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
