This role requires strong mechanical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset. The Landscape Mechanic plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, maintaining fleet reliability, and supporting field operations.All employees are expected to uphold the company's purpose and demonstrate its core values in every aspect of their work.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial lawn mowers and two-cycle equipment, including string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowersDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issuesMaintain service vehicles, trailers, tools, equipment, and shop inventory in safe and working conditionSupport seasonal parts inventory planning, stocking, and organization as neededAccurately track time, materials, and parts used for repairs and maintenanceComplete all required documentation and work orders in a timely and accurate mannerFollow all safety rules, regulations, and company policies while performing work assignmentsPerform additional duties as assigned to support operational needsSkills & AttributesAdvanced knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance and repairStrong critical thinking and diagnostic skills with the ability to perform complex repairs independentlyHigh attention to detail and organizational disciplineAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-oriented environmentDependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervisionWillingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditionsPosition RequirementsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per fleet insurance standardsAbility to pass drug and alcohol screeningAbility to consistently lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 poundsHigh school diploma or GEDDemonstrated ability to operate commercial lawn equipment and related toolsExpert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in equipment and vehicle repairCompensation & BenefitsWeekly payMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Work Conditions
