Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - MolineFunction: Operations (CA)Title: Maintenance Team Leader- 3rd Shift - 120972Onsite/Remote:Onsite PositionYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Team Leader- 3rd Shift for JD Seeding Group - Moline located in Moline, IL, you will be:Assign and monitor the work of skilled-trades personnel to accomplish customer requests, preventative maintenance, and project workPlan for maintenance of equipment that improves reliability, efficiency, quality and safetyDiagnose machine malfunctions to root cause, recommend solutions, and support the execution of the repair/improvement planProvide expert review and analysis of equipment spare parts lists, preventive maintenance plans, and documentationVISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position.What Skills You Need3 or more years of general maintenance, mechanical engineering, or factory automation experienceAbility and willingness to support a multi-shift or extended-shift operationAbility and willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekendsEffective communication, both verbal and writtenAbility to work 3rd shiftWhat Makes You StandoutExperience in maintenance leadership role in a union environmentTechnical experience with design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systemsAutomation and controls troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley components and Rockwell Automation PLC software1 or more years of experience interfacing with machines through multiple communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, DeviceNet, Serial, Profibus, Modbus, etc.)Experience working within SAP PM moduleExperience with machinery and equipment safety standards (e.g. OSHA 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, etc.)EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical, electrical, or equivalent related work experienceWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
