Operational Technology Security Technical Program Manager, Third-Party Data Centers

Overview In this role, you will lead cross‑functional programs to advance operational maturity and cybersecurity for Google data centers during commissioning and turn‑ups. You will partner with engineering, facilities, and security teams to validate facility readiness and manage dependencies across sites. You will design and deploy OT security tools and standardized SCADA designs, protecting third‑party environments from threats. You will translate complex security needs into actionable programs and communicate risks and tradeoffs to executives. This role offers impact across global data centers and scalable cybersecurity outcomes. ResponsibilitiesMonitor and improve operational maturity for new and existing facilities during commissioningCoordinate with commissioning and facility teams to configure network infrastructure and provisioning timelinesDrive cybersecurity resilience from day one and implement Google OT security standards across environmentsStrategize deployment of cybersecurity tools (e.g., OTHP, OTZK, Nexus, SEA) and modernize SCADA designsReplace legacy switches with standardized SCADA designs in E2-E5 sitesProtect third‑party data center environments from nation‑state threats and manage SCADA transitionsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (Security Engineering, Network Engineering, Site Reliability, etc.) to scale cybersecurity programsLead risk analysis, data collection, compliance assessments, and continuous improvements across OT systems Key requirementsBachelor in Operational and Industrial Engineering8 years of experience with mission‑critical industrial monitoring and control systems site operations5 years of experience with information security for Industrial Control Systems OTExperience in control systems and plant health (alarm management, FPY, failure rates, statistical/process control)Cross‑functional collaborationStrong communication with executives and engineersData-driven decision makingOT security for Industrial Control SystemsIncident response, penetration testing, vulnerability assessmentsSQL, dashboarding, and advanced data analytics
