Its technology supports cloud and customer network integration, including specialized oncology systems, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.About the Opportunity:The Network Engineer designs, maintains, and troubleshoots network infrastructure supporting secure connectivity between AWS cloud services and customer environments. This role ensures reliable network performance and security while supporting customer onboarding, infrastructure improvements, and advanced healthcare technology solutions.Responsibilities:• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VPN and network connectivity across AWS and customer environments.• Manage AWS networking infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, Network ACLs, and Transit Gateway.• Diagnose complex issues involving routing, NAT, VPN tunnels, latency, and network performance.• Monitor network infrastructure and proactively address availability, security, and performance issues.• Perform network maintenance, configuration changes, firmware updates, and security patching with minimal disruption.• Support customer onboarding, network configuration, and connectivity validation.• Collaborate with customer IT and technical teams to coordinate configurations and resolve connectivity issues.• Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity using packet capture tools such as Wireshark.• Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for consistent cloud network deployments.• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks while improving reliability, security, automation, and monitoring.Requirements:• Minimum 3 years of hands-on network engineering experience, including hybrid cloud environments.• Experience with AWS networking technologies including VPCs, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway, subnets, and routing.• Strong knowledge of IPsec VPN technologies, including IKEv1 and IKEv2.• Proven ability to troubleshoot NAT, routing, and complex VPN connectivity issues.• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, and network security concepts.• Proficiency with network troubleshooting and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.• Strong problem-solving and communication skills when working with technical teams and customers.• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation preferred.• Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred; familiarity with HL7 or FHIR is a plus.• AWS or CCNP certification preferred.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Target annual compensation of $135,000–$150,000.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
