CDL Driver 2-Month Contract

Star Stone is seeking a Contractor Quarry Driver with a Class A License for a two-month term, delivering from our quarry to various store locations. Our success is rooted in our dedication to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients trust us as their go-to experts.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLASS A CDL DRIVERYour responsibilities will include loading, unloading, inspecting, and operating delivery vehicles, such as flatbeds or dump trucks. You'll also diagnose and perform minor repairs on fleet equipment. While most deliveries are local, there may be occasional overnight trips. Besides deliveries, you'll ensure that your vehicle is in top condition and equipped with all necessary safety gear. You'll follow DOT regulations and safety protocols to keep things running smoothly. Seeing the direct impact of your work and helping keep our operations efficient will provide a great sense of fulfillment.QualificationsAbility to meet physical demands, such as lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.Skilled in operating equipment needed to load and secure deliveries.Possession of a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements.Valid Medical Card.Clean driving record.Ability to pass a drug test.Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
