Our greatest reward is witnessing the rapid and joyful learning of our little ones and knowing that together, we are creating more happy days for the kids and families we serve.REGIONAL CLINIC DIRECTORThe Regional Clinic Director is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all local families being served by the regional office receive the best possible care from both the Clinical and Administrative teams. To that end, the RCD must mentor and manage its clinical team (PDs, PMs,Leads, Instructors, Trainees) and facilitate collaboration between the administrative team (office, Scheduling, and Training) and the clinical team to ensure that regional office growth and service fulfillment goals are achieved. In addition, the RCD is responsible for ensuring that FirstSteps develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with its vendors and funding sources and is continuing to create new relationships with key stakeholders. The RCD is a leader in our organization and is expected to communicate effectively and professionally with the best interests of FirstSteps guiding all communications and actions.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Master’s Degree or Doctorate required; Degree in Psychology or closely related field strongly preferred Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) 3 years of exemplary performance in a similar leadership role Spanish-speaking preferredSummary of Job Duties:Clinic Development and GrowthBuild and maintain community and stakeholder relationships.Host trainings/events and track impact on growth.Manage client base growth, attrition, and staff hiring/retention.Oversee client intakes and orientation.Hire and support leadership staff.Ensure accurate and timely billing and authorization.Monitor and improve productivity metrics.Organize programs and events that promote clinic growth.Manage local office budget.Local Office Management + Executive CollaborationFoster professional, collaborative office culture.Lead regular office meetings and conduct workflow checks.Report on clinic performance to Executive Team.Implement company-wide policies at the local level.Ensure admin team meets professional standards.Verify staff documentation and compliance.Support evaluations of admin staff.Clinical + Instructional Team LeadershipEnsure clinical quality, compliance, and documentation accuracy.Mentor BCBAs and guide programming decisions.Review and support progress reports and treatment plans.Attend meetings to collaborate on child treatment planning.Maintain proactive family contact and support.Monitor BCBA supervision of clinical teams and ensure program fidelity.Facilitate clinical staff recognition and development.Conduct BCBA evaluations and support professional growth.Training Program OversightSupport effective recruitment, hiring, and training of Instructors and Leads.Collaborate on quality training for BCBA candidates.Ensure mentorship and supervision follow best practices.ABA Program DesignMaintain a small client caseload to model excellent clinical practice.Develop individualized treatment goals and behavior plans.Author quality reports and collaborate on treatment teams.Train and coach parents in ABA strategies.Center-Based Services OversightEnsure safe, ethical, and effective service delivery in the clinic.Support center-base supervision, training, and incident response.Collaborate with facilities to maintain a safe and welcoming space.Ensure center-based staff provide high-quality care and support throughout sessions.Legal and Ethical DutiesModel and enforce ethical, legal, and professional standards in all areas.Uphold BACB conduct guidelines across the office.Maintain strict client confidentiality per HIPAA and company protocols.Report suspected abuse/neglect and manage incident documentation.Represent FirstSteps values with clients and the community.Advise teams on conflict resolution with families, funders, and staff.Leadership, Professional Development, and MentorshipLead with integrity, accountability, and transparent communication.Foster collaboration and recognize team contributions.Maintain confidentiality with staff matters.Stay current with research and maintain certifications.Mentor team members and support their professional development.Engage in company and community events.Seek support and escalate concerns appropriately.ABILITIES REQUIRED Is a leader Strong interpersonal skills, to include diplomatically addressing difficult situations and people (clients and staff alike), providing constructive feedback Strong written and oral expression, to include report and letter writing, program description, presentations at IEP’s, IFSP’s, school staff trainings, and regional/national conferences Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-focused behavior Sound and reliable judgement Creative thinking Independent, proactive work-style Be able to manage multiple teams Exceptional Organization, Time-Management, and Multi-tasking Work as part of a larger clinical team for the betterment of the entire program Able to lift 25-50 lbs Able to adhere to assigned schedule and drive to clients’ homes as assigned Able to run short distances, sit on the floor, bend down, squat, and kneelFirstSteps on Diversity & EquityWe are an equal opportunity employer which means that we value diversity, equity, and inclusivity in all aspects of our work - in our service delivery with our clients, in collaboration with families and communities, and in our organizational culture and practices with our staff.
