We are seeking a Compounding Operation Technician to support hands-on production activities in our Winchester facility. If you are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Compounding Operation Technician, you will play a critical role in safely operating and maintaining production processes while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate compounding process equipment and utilitiesMonitor and adjust process conditions (valves, tanks, piping, sterilization systems)Accurately document batch records and production dataMaintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocolsIdentify and report quality deviations or safety concernsTroubleshoot process and equipment issues independentlyReview production documentation for accuracy and compliancePerform housekeeping and weekly area auditsParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesSupport training of new operatorsYou will have the authority and responsibility to stop production in the event of a safety or quality concern.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of manufacturing experienceMechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skillsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications4–8 years of manufacturing experienceExperience with plastics or compounding processesFamiliarity with manufacturing software systemsPhysical & Work Requirements· Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally · Ability to wear required PPE including hearing protection · Exposure to manufacturing environments with moving equipment, airborne particles, and varying temperatures · Ability to hear machinery alarms and distinguish sounds on the production floor · Clear near and distance vision for computer and production tasksWhy Danimer?Mission-driven work (bye, plastic pollution) Growth opportunity Great pay + benefits Team-first cultureEqual Opportunity EmployerDanimer Scientific provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other status protected by law.
