Strong sense of business acumen, the ability to manage and drive multiple seasons, and a deep understanding of trend, consumer, and marketplace will be critical to this role. Contact 6 monthPay rate $35/hr ● On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours● Potential for some travel (HM advised there may be a need for a trip to NY or LA - more will be provided to selected candidate)● Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required● 5+ years’ experience in retail buying● Top skills include the following:○ Retail buying experience○ Retail acumen (analysis, math)○ Actual retail experience in a store● Soft skills desired:○ Great communication skills○ Resourcefulness; someone who can figure things out by asking questions and creating relationships with others● Time to fill WILL be a factor here, so may not leave req open for submissions for very long● Those who have retail/buying/merchandising experience along with store experience will be prioritizedWill work within an immediate team of ~5 on a buying team, but will also work cross-functionally
