Software Tester/QA Analyst

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Software Tester/QA Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area.* Position is hybridJob Description:Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will identify, document, and track defects, collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues, and contribute to improving testing processes and standards. Experience with manual and/or automated testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly are essential for success in this position.Responsibilities:Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirementsIdentify, document, and track software defects through resolutionCollaborate with developers, QA leads, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are metMaintain and update test documentation and coverage reportsSupport regression testing efforts and contribute to automation initiativesQualifications:Experience in manual and/or automated software testingFamiliarity with test case management tools (e.g., Xray, Jira)Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsRequired Skills:4 Years – JIRA4 Years – Xray5 Years - Hands on automation scriptingThis position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with competitive benefits package.
