Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourJob description:We have an immediate opening for a full-time Heat Transfer Press Operator, also known as a heat press / sublimation operator, which uses heat press equipment to transfer images to fabrics. Our primary services include printing on fabric, paper and vinyl for commercial applications.The schedule for this position is Monday -Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, with the possibility of a later staggered shift in the future. Changes to schedule may be made as needed depending on current workloads. Some weekend work will be expected during peak busy times.Starting wage for this position ranges from $15-18 per hour. Opportunities exist for promotion and cross-training in other departments.ResponsibilitiesLoading fabric, paper, and tissueQuality checks throughout the transfer processFollowing production schedules to meet internal and external demandMaintaining a clean and organized work areaMonitoring and adjusting machine settingsEquipment operation and troubleshootingPerform general and preventative maintenance. Establish maintenance logs and machine setting information.Communicating with Prepress, Printing, and Management daily.Maintaining inventories of fabric and tissue to keep levels above minimum.Attending daily production meeting.Follow all safety protocols with regards to the operation of machinery.QualificationsStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working on computers using different software systemsStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWork within a team environmentExperience in a production environmentMechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctionsConsistently run machines at rated speeds or betterAbility to lift up to 75 lbs daily with the aid of equipmentVision abilities to include distance and close focus.
