Opportunity: RN - Med SurgJob Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts in Clinical Decision Unit • 36 guaranteed hours per week with alternating weekends • Patient ratio of 1:4-6 in 8-bed unit • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Strong Med Surg experience required • BLS certification required • EPIC and ACLS preferred • Float requirements: customary to any inpatient unit • No call requirements • Flu vaccination required for all travelers • Black scrubs required • Must be a team player, willing to help, pleasant and caring towards patient outcomes • Process high volume of admissions • Coordinate, plan, direct, and implement nursing process for medical-surgical patients • Work with typical ER observation and admission patients • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • This is not an ER positionFacility: This is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that holds multiple prestigious certifications and designations.
