The role involves technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on ensuring system quality, compliance, and performance in regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of automation solutions, with a primary focus on Distributed Control Systems (e.g., DeltaV or similar platforms)Design, configure, and test batch control systems, ensuring seamless system integrationManage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, installation, commissioning, and on-site supportCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on system requirements, project goals, and technical solutionsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting development and knowledge sharingDevelop and review key project documentation, including functional specifications, user requirements, risk assessments, and validation protocolsAct as a technical point of contact for clients, supporting system demonstrations, troubleshooting, and process optimisationRequirementsExperience: 5 -10 years in automation or systems engineering, with a strong focus on DCS implementation within project-based environmentsTechnical Expertise: Hands-on experience with DeltaV or similar DCS platforms, including system configuration, design, and batch processingIndustry Background: Experience in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences) is advantageous, though candidates from other process-driven sectors will be consideredLeadership: Proven ability to lead projects or key project phases, either formally or informallyEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related disciplineWhy JoinThis is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering environment working on high-impact automation projects.
