Human Services Project Manager Location: Onsite (Clearwater, FL) Duration: 6 Months Visa Type: Only USC and GC Candidates Qualifications Required: Project Manager, Human Services Software Platform Implementation: The Business Application Services division of Business Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager for a large human services project. Pinellas County is replacing multiple software applications for the Human Services department; the Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating internal efforts and ensuring that vendor teams and internals stay coordinated. This is a highly complex project, with multiple vendors, many integrations, and requiring intense collaboration between county teams, and various vendors between each other. The Project Manager will managing internal county resources associated with the project, overseeing schedules, as well as maintaining relationship with Human Services and Business Technology Services. Project Manager will collaborate with potentially multiple PMs from software implementor and software application. We expect the Implementers PM will be primary, however due to the complexity of this project and the teams involved, ensuring coordination and open, clear communications will be one of the main keys to success. This position will be responsible for: Tracking deliverables and high-level schedule in ServiceNow Ensuring that all teams are staying on track across deliverables for multiple vendors Identifying communication shortfalls and working to rectify that with meetings, emails as well as novel ideas for improving communications and effectiveness of the teams Ensuring Pinellas meets all our responsibilities for the engagement, including SME contributions from our Human Services Department, technical deliverables such as data conversion, and so on. Overseeing internal team member contributions Tracking budgetary expenditures Tracking deliverables and invoices based on contract requirements Coordinating meetings with Pinellas team members and vendor Review documentation from vendor and internal teams Training Planning Collaborate with internal and external teams on change management planning. Identify, track and manage project risks and mitigation strategies. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedules and project costs using appropriate techniques, product development concepts, methodologies, and processes Develop and maintain tools to improve the efficiency of performing project work Must Have: Successful experience managing large, complex IT projects, and working with technical teams including solution architects, software developers, database and cloud practitioners. Senior Project Management skills. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle including especially agile approaches but waterfall as needed. Healthcare or Social Services Experience. Successful history of facilitating consensus between internal and contracted teams. Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders from staff to directors, and external partners. Experience in coordinating project meetings and helping to track and monitor project deliverables, scope, and deadlines. Highly capable in using software tools for supporting documentation including spreadsheets, MS Project, diagraming tools like Visio, and other PM tools when required. Ability to lead problem solving and resolution efforts. Highly Desirable: Change management skills or certification. Experience with ServiceNow for Project Management. Broad knowledge of EMR and Case Management systems. Previous experience working in local municipal or county government
