Material Handler

Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $19.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 4:45am - 2:45pm, 6:45am - 2:45pm, 3:00pm - 1:00am or 11:00pm - 7:00am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Germantown, WI. Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards Material Handler Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
