Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Shift Supervisor. This position is located in Rhinelander, WI and will report to the Press Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage the assigned shift by providing direction, coaching, administering performance reviews, and providing performance feedback to associates to ensure all of the plant goals in relation to safety, waste, quality, and productivity are achieved.
Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are met.
Oversee plant initiatives in process improvement and food safety.
Supervise shift personnel in a manner that promotes a sense of fairness and high morale.
Control operating costs.
Perform job checkouts and make decisions regarding quality.
Oversee the entire plant on any given shift as needed to ensure compliance to regulatory policies.
Effectively facilitate and lead a team to achieve specific plant goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and weekends
Production Experience
Supervisory Experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Flexographic printing, lamination, slitting, and cold seal experience
Basic Microsoft computer skills
Computer skills and working knowledge of Google products, Word, Excel, and Workday
