Dairy Processing Machine Operator Department: Production *Shift hours available: 1st shift work Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM 2nd shift work Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM 3rd Shift work hours - 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM Wages: $20.24 per hour, plus benefits Reports to: Shift Supervisor Days Off: Saturday and Sunday (subject to change) Overview: Ensures that SVD, Inc., products are processed in accordance with Company Policies, Procedure and Regulatory Requirements. Ensures that production work area and equipment is cleaned and maintained within SVD, Inc. Regulatory standards and expectations. Responsibilities: Clean milk processing areas floors, equipment, walls, celling, drains. Operate filling, packing and processing equipment Stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds Move product utilizing a pallet jack. Palletize product Must be able to replace plastic wrapping rolls as needed. Must be able and willing to check the product to ensure 100 quality. Be able to work at different areas of manufacturing plant with varying temperate from ambient to air conditioned to hot to refrigerated. Be able to perform job duties wearing sanitary boots when working in wet area for entire shift. Punctuality and attendance are a must Qualifications: Must have prior experience working in a food manufacturing environment. Must have STABLE work history. Must have experience working with food manufacturing equipment. Must have experience working with food manufacturing filling department. Must have experience working with food packaging. Must have experience working with food processing equipment Must be able to operate a pallet jack both manual and electric. Must have experience using a computer Be able to accurately do simple math (e.g. add, subtract, multiply and divide) Must have experience entering Basic Data on Computer Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to work in the areas that are needed.
