You will focus on modernizing control systems by transitioning from legacy physical panels to a distributed control system (DCS). The Designer will help analyze, redesign, and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to support the successful execution of the project.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret existing electrical schematics and wiring diagramsConvert legacy image-based schematics into accurate vector-based drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStationDesign new electrical schematics to support updated control systems and DCS integrationEnsure all electrical connections and controls are represented and functionalSupport project execution by collaborating with engineers on system design and implementationParticipate in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during project executionMaintain clear and organized technical documentationQualifications5–7 years of experience in electrical design, drafting, or engineeringProficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation5+ years of experience with:Electrical schematicsWiring and connection diagramsIndustrial electrical systems1+ years of experience in industrial or utility environmentsFamiliarity with control systems (PLC, TCS, or DCS)Motor control experienceOur Safety Pledge To YouIf you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
